| Аннотация: | The article discusses an approach to the analysis of static information based on the use of neural network technologies and regression models. The forecast for the neural network was made on the basis of official statistics, data on the development of advanced technologies, and also taking into account the current situation in the dynamics of the incidence in Russia for the period from 2003 to 2020. As a result, forecasts for the next 5 years were determined. Growth is expected to continue, but at a slower pace. At this stage, the incidence and the introduction of quarantine measures adversely affect the situation and lead to a reduction in consumption. It is worth noting that the trends in the production of innovative technologies will continue, despite the negative consequences of the pandemic. This is evidenced by forecast data. | |

| Аннотация: | City services and infrastructures are focused on consumers and are able to effectively and qualitatively implement their functions only under conditions of normal workload. In this regard, the correct organization of a public service system is directly related to the knowledge of the quantitative and qualitative composition of people in the city during the day. The article discusses existing solutions for analyzing the distribution of people in a territory based on data collected by mobile operators, payment terminals, navigation systems and other network solutions, as well as the modeling methods derived from them. The scientific aim of the study is to propose a solution for modeling the daily distribution of people based on open statistics collected from the Internet and open-web mapping data. The stages of development of the modeling software environment and the methods for spatial analysis of available data on a digital cartographic basis are described. The proposed approach includes the use of archetypes of social groups, occupational statistics, gender and age composition of a certain territory, as well as the characteristics of urban infrastructure objects in terms of composition and purpose. Solutions for modeling the 48 h distribution of city residents with reference to certain infrastructure facilities (residential, public and working) during working and weekend days with an hourly breakdown of the simulated values were created as a result of the study. A simulation of the daily distribution of people in the city was carried out using the example of the city of Volgograd, Russian Federation. A picture of the daily distribution of city residents by district and specific buildings of the city was obtained as a result of the modeling. The proposed approach and the created algorithm can be applied to any city. | |

| Аннотация: | At the present time, the prerequisites for intensification of the regional economic systems' development are being created in the Russian higher education system. The article deals with the issues of modernization of the flagship universities, reflected in their development programs. A hypothesis has been put forward that the development of flagship universities would adequately correspond to the regional agenda, while ensuring the sustainable development of both the university and the region as a whole. It becomes possible with a more detailed study of the components of the social and economic potential of the regions and the development and implementation of strategic projects of flagship universities aimed at developing the natural and resource regional potential, taking into account the effects of transforming universities into centers of innovation, technological and social development of the regions. | |

| Аннотация: | A modified method of separation of variables is proposed for solving the direct problem of diffraction of electromagnetic wave by multilayer dielectric gratings (MDG). To apply this method, it is necessary to solve a one-dimensional eigenvalue problem for a 2nd order differential equation on a segment with piecewise constant coefficients. The accuracy of the method is verified by comparison with the results obtained by the commercially available RCWA method. It is demonstrated that the method can be applied not only to commonly used MDG elements with one line in a grating period but also to potentially promising MDG elements with several different lines in a grating period. | |

| Аннотация: | The paper contains material on the choice of the form of distribution of income of the population and the assessment of the parameters of the stochastic volatility model, which are based on beta distributions. Since the mathematical description of complex systems is often built on the basis of distribution models that are given on the positive semi axis, then for these purposes, beta distribution of the second kind and its moments is often used. As the output arrays of complex processes are scaled in units of controlled physical quantities, it makes difficult to applied the classical moments method to analysis of the shape parameter of beta distributions. For this reason, the method of standardized moments is used to preliminary determine the type of distributions. However, this method makes not possible to estimate the shapes parameters of beta distributions. The objective of this paper is to study the possibility of using entropy coefficients to construct a display space for estimates of the shape parameters of the beta distribution of the second kind. Also, this paper addresses the problem of constructions of the diagram for the modelling shapes of the beta distribution of the second kind. | |

Methodology: the authors presented formulas for calculating the reliability of the tests used to verify students' training, the description of what is required for monitoring, the actions of the teacher to perform a quality assessment system. The process of calculating the final grade for the course is presented, which will provide the necessary conditions for conducting student knowledge control.
